House Rules



Aloha HCC Team Member/Housing Resident:  While you reside in HCC Team Member Housing as a team member of Hawaii Care and Cleaning, please remember that you are representing HCC as well as yourself and your team members.  We ask that you be respectful of your room-mates, neighbors, and the housing management and to please abide by the following rules/guidelines:

  • Only the assigned HCC team members are authorized to live/sleep in each home.  There are no unauthorized overnight guests allowed in the homes.  All visitors must leave the home by 10:00 p.m. 
  • Maintain apartment/house in a reasonably clean fashion including but not limited to weekly cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen and floors including vacuuming of carpets.
  • Alcohol/Drugs – Alcohol consumption and use of illegal drugs are prohibited in Team Member housing.  No excessive drunkenness in the homes or in the common/public areas and facilities of the housing complex when alcohol has been consumed off property.  Use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.  Anyone using illegal drugs may be asked to move out of the HCC housing immediately.
  • Keep your voice volume low and stereo and television to a reasonable volume especially at night. Make an effort to situate your speakers and entertainment appliances at optimal distance from the walls of adjacent tenants; elevate them off the floor if possible when other tenants live below. Do not run noisy appliances/electronics after 10pm. Walk gently without pounding your heels.
  • In common/public areas - When using the BBQ/Grill, laundry facility and other common areas, please keep your voice low and clean up any trash, towels or other items.  Be respectful of other residents using these areas.  Remember guidelines regarding alcohol and drugs. 
  • Driveway/Parking lot – When you are waiting for your ride to/from work, arrive and depart courteously. Keep your voice low.  Do not lean on or set items on any cars.  Dispose of trash in trash cans.
  • Share the air
    • Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the homes or company vehicles. Smoking is allowed in designated outside smoking areas only.
    • Ventilate your apartment/house and use air fresheners often to prevent any cooking, bathroom odors or other smells from migrating through your home.
  • Be courteous to your room-mates.  Share refrigerator/cupboard space equitably.  Be responsible and clean up after yourself including but not limited to kitchen, dishes, bathroom, etc.
  • Conserve Electricity – Please turn off all lights, fans, appliances and electronic devices when not in use and when you are out of the home.   Use of air conditioners is strictly prohibited.
  • No pets allowed – no exceptions. 
  • Get along well with others – Do your best to resolve any issues or disagreements by talking it out. Be an example of courtesy to other tenants.  If you cannot resolve a dispute peacefully please contact the housing manager.
  • HCC shall inspect Team Member housing weekly to ensure compliance with the rules and guidelines as listed above.
  • Residents/HCC Team Members are not permitted to change/move/relocate/switch houses/housing assignment without authorization from the Housing Manager.
  • If you have been evicted from HCC Team Member Housing you may not return to or visit any HCC Team Member housing.
